VISION
Every road enabled to deliver real-time traffic data at high quality & low cost.

PURPOSE
To promote the creation, collection and availability of high quality, real-time traffic data for drivers everywhere.

Key Objectives

EDUCATE:  Federal, State, Local governments; Transportation managers and operators.

DATA:  Work to ensure build out of data capturing infrastructure and make data accessible.

LEGISLATION:  Monitor bills and act in Coalition’s interest, where necessary.

PROMOTE:  Foster growth of technologies and the market.

DOT: Support development of real-time traffic policies and programs.  Raise the visibility of current and developing technologies to improve the performance of the surface transportation system.

Partnering: American Highway Users Alliance, Congressional E-911 Institute, ITS Industry Advisory Committee, ITS America, Society of Automotive Engineers, and 511 Coalition.
